Mobile App Development

Tryl is an app design to alleviate stress and fear that people go through easily. The main functionality is to create your own account, modify the account to the user’s interests, and find a local therapist to the user’s liking. The intentions behind creating this app is to open up a space for people to reach out to therapists or friends who are struggling before they realize it’s a large issue and be able to provide a good and safe environment for the user.

MedPuck

Product Design

The concept that my group came up with was a small timer in the shape of a hockey puck that would help people taking medication know when to take their medicine after a certain time period (24 hours). When the user places their medicine bottle on the surface of the timer, the user will turn on the circuit and set a the timer for however many hours by twisting the exterior to where it stops. While the medicine bottle is on the MedPuck and the timer is going, the LED strip assembled inside the puck will turn on for every 6 hours that has passed (and if there are more LEDs on a strip, it can be programmed to every 2 hours).

Poster Mailer

Graphic Design

For this project, the students were given a list of performances that were going to perform at the Colorado Symphony. Our task was to create a front poster and organize all the performances in a cohesive way that was in congruence with our design on the front page. As shown in the mood board below, the idea for creating the streaks were the different light rays we see in a shutter photo when car lights pass by quickly. But, the tones I focused on peace, magic, euphoria, and historic.

Expressive Booklet

Graphic Design

The Expressive Booklet utilizes a quote, poem, lyric, or inspirational speech and create a graphic booklet that expresses different tones only through typography. Within each page, the goal was to utilize each individual phrase and portray an image with the text, utilizing little to no imagery.
